Despite the introduction of laryngeal framework surgery for the treatment of unilateral vocal cord paralysis, Teflon injection is still advocated in certain medical centers in view of the simplicity of the procedure.1,2 Although the frequency of its use has declined recently, we still encounter patients with problems related to Teflon injection years after undergoing the procedure.
