Incorrect Title and Error in Abstract

JAMA Otolaryngol Head Neck Surg. 2014;140(1):65. doi:10.1001/jamaoto.2013.6386

In the Original Investigation titled “Modality Treatment Outcomes for Head and Neck Cancer: Comparison of Postoperative Radiation Therapy at Academic vs Nonacademic Medical Centers” published online September 19, 2013, and also in the November print issue of JAMAOtolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery (2013;139[11]:1118-1126. doi:10.1001/jamaoto.2013.4539), a word was omitted from the title on page 1118. The full title should have read: “Combined Modality Treatment Outcomes for Head and Neck Cancer: Comparison of Postoperative Radiation Therapy at Academic vs Nonacademic Medical Centers.” Typographical errors also appeared on the same page in the abstract. The Design, Setting, and Participants section should have read: “Retrospective cohort study in 1 AC and several community RT non-ACs of patients with primary HNSCC treated with surgery at an AC followed by adjuvant therapy at an AC or a non-AC from January 1, 2002, to January 1, 2012.” This article was corrected online.
