This is a general textbook of pediatrics for the practitioner. The French ideas as to diagnosis and therapy are well presented, and the section on respiratory diseases is especially good. The illustrations are well chosen to show the conditions discussed, but are not of such excellence as one is accustomed to see in German and American texts.
If one wishes a complete textbook in one volume giving the French point of view and practical approach, this book is well worth while.
