This work of convenient size contains an amazing amount of material, and presents concisely every aspect of syphilis. It tends to be a compilation, and other authors have written a few chapters. The text is well illustrated by photographs, photomicrographs and colored plates. Many of the legends preach unforgettable sermons.
The text is valuable in enabling students and practitioners to obtain a bird's-eye view of the disease and become familiar with general principles.
