This book deals with the treatment of tuberculosis with chemotherapy. The various gold preparations are discussed in detail, with particular attention to "Sanocrysin." This substance the author believes to be most efficacious. The literature concerning the results of this form of treatment has been collected and studied. All the case reports are beautifully illustrated with roentgenograms. In the study of his own results the author has taken a very fair view. Briefly, he believes that treatment with gold compounds is of value in infantile tuberculosis and in initial pulmonary tuberculosis of the adult, particularly when combined with collapse therapy. This book is excellently written; the illustrations are remarkably clear, and the printing is perfect. It seems to the reviewer that an English translation would be of value.
