May Day.—The Children's Bureau of the United States Department of Labor has issued the following bulletin regarding May Day:"The Children's Bureau sponsors May Day—Child Health Day activities at the request of the State and Provincial Health Authorities of North America and in accordance with the Congressional Resolution of May 18, 1928, authorizing the President to proclaim May Day as Child Health Day."Slogan: Health protection for every child."Objective: To promote the extension of year-round child-health services in every community, including services for physically handicapped children."Leadership: State May Day chairmen will be appointed by State health officers to plan the State Child Health Day program and to arrange for the cooperation of organizations concerned with child health.State departments of education will be asked to cooperate by planning and directing school Child Health Day programs."Program: For community groups—(1) an evaluation of child-health services
