This is a collection of observations and precepts which the author considers of fundamental importance in the diagnosis and treatment of the diseases of infancy and childhood. The topics are grouped in the usual manner, including examination of the child, hygiene, hyperthermia, digestive disturbances, alimentary regimens and the like. The precepts are valuable principally as suggestions which must be checked by the reader's experience.
