This book consists mostly of menus adequate and satisfactory to the need of the young child in either the family or the nursery school. Recipes are given for six and for thirty servings. In the early part of the book the author discusses the formation of food habits and how best to make the shifts in feeding which occur in the first two years. Constant reprimanding of children at meal time is deplored, and it is advised that the child's personality should be respected at all times.
