Dr. Hirszfeld has for many years written interestingly on the role of heredity in disease. Her experience was mostly gained at Josef Pilsudski University in Poland. In this book her ideas are skilfully compressed into a very short space. There are numerous tables and charts to amplify and fortify her conclusions. Although in French, the book is readable and should be perused by any one interested in the subject of heredity.
