In this volume the authors have made a rather partisan contribution to the extremely controversial subject of the roentgen treatment of infections. To the reviewer the most interesting sections are those dealing with parotitis and erysipelas. It is hoped that this book will serve as a stimulus to further and perhaps better controlled studies of the limited role of the roentgen rays in the treatment of infection.
