This large volume, of 2,495 pages, is the up-to-date record of those who have passed the examinations of the various American boards for certifying medical specialists. In addition to the biographic data, there are contained statements regarding the organization of the Advisory Board and the rules of each separate board. Each set of rules is presented just before the list of specialists certified by that board. The increase in the size of the volume indicates the popularity of these boards and speaks well for the advances in medical education in the United States and neighboring countries.
