This book is representative of the long labors of Dr. Hassin in the field of neuropathology, during approximately thirty-five years. It is not surprising, then, that the text should be recognized as the outstanding book in the English language on the subject of microscopic pathology of nervous diseases. Nor will the reader be astonished to learn that its author is considered the dean of American neuropathologists and, logically, is the editor of the only journal concerned particularly with this field of investigation.
