In the Special Communication titled “What Does Zika Virus Mean for the Children of the Americas?”1 published online June 20, 2016, the reference cited at the end of the third paragraph was incorrect. The sentence should read as follows: “A pre-M protein involved in virus assembly and maturation has also been shown to be affected.13” Also, reference 19 was incorrect and should read as follows: “Hotez PJ. Neglected infections of poverty in the United States and their effects on the brain. JAMA Psychiatry. 2014;71(10):1099-1100.” This article was corrected online.
