Neonatal Hemorrhagic Stroke

Although intraventricular hemorrhage is a well-described complication in the premature infant, intracranial hemorrhage in the term infant is also an important cause of neurologic morbidity, historically ascribed to a complicated birth or coagulopathy but not infrequently without an identified cause.1,2
