To the Editor We would like to congratulate Liu et al1 on the publication of their article analyzing cigarette and electronic cigarette (e-cigarette) prevalence within communities of pregnant and nonpregnant women. While their landmark study sheds light on these statistics, there are clear limitations in this study that were left unaddressed. Notably, the authors have omitted analyses of variables such as race/ethnicity and age.
