In Reply We thank Sun et al for the letter concerning our study1 in which we described the trends in prevalence of measured overweight and obesity among children aged 2 to 13 years in 28 European countries from 1999 to 2016 using a systematic methodology. Sun et al have questioned the use of Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) requirements2 because the detailed recovery strategy does not appear in the article. The study1 was conducted according to the Meta-analysis of Observational Studies in Epidemiology (MOOSE) reporting guideline3 and the PRISMA reporting guideline.2 Additionally, we have registered this review on PROSPERO, and its protocol has been published elsewhere.4 We disagree with the point because the search strategy is described in detail in eTable 1 in the Supplement.
