Vertical Transmission of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 From the Mother to the Infant

To the Editor We found the Research Letter on early-onset severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection in neonates by Zeng et al¹ an interesting read. The report from the authors on neonatal cases from the epicenter of the pandemic is commendable and sheds some light on this infection in a vulnerable group. It is especially useful information as we all try to navigate our way around the control of this unfortunate pandemic.
