We appreciate Dr Greenberg's reference to Dr Korsch's work on communication in pediatric visits. We wrote an article that highlighted and revisited the work of Dr Korsch and her colleagues, although it was in a health services research journal rather than one more focused on clinical pediatrics.1 We pointed out that in the 30 years between her study and ours, little seemed to have changed in one important aspect of pediatric visits—the extent to which children participated. We also referred to Dr Korsch's work (and that of other investigators whose work inspired our own)2,3 previously in the ARCHIVES.4
