This study represents an exceptionally detailed survey of three groups of institutional children. In all aspects the children in the better fed groups showed demonstrable superiority over those whose diet was inferior. A second study of the group that had the best diet was carried out after the diet was improved further, and progress was demonstrated over the previous status.
The detail and thoroughness of the study are worthy of comment.
