This is the first really comprehensive instruction book for children that the reviewer has seen. It is written clearly and succinctly. The description of insulin reactions and diabetic acidosis and coma are particularly clear. There is excellent advice on travel.
The usual sample diets and diabetic cooking are in the back of the book. This book should be in the possession of the parents of every diabetic child.
