This second edition of a manual which first appeared in 1944 retains the convenient small size and the presentation of each major fungous disease under these headings: definition, geographic distribution, source of infection, age, sex, race and occupational incidence, symptomatology, mycology, pathology, immunology, differential diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment. There are many illustrations of clinical lesions, x-rays, and photomicrographs. The convenient organization and large amount of information makes this a handy reference.
