This book is the fourth in a series by the same author, drawing from her own vast experience over the last 25 years and the knowledge and experience of Paul Schilder and other contributors from the Psychiatric Division of Bellevue Hospital in New York. Most of the material, presented in brief and concise form, has been published in individual papers in various journals in the course of the years, so that this volume can serve as a compendium to the hurried reader and as a reference work to the investigator.
Its practical value is enhanced by case reports, many of them with follow-up studies over long periods, and by the description of some tests and neurological entities rarely encountered.
