Health Education Conference.—The 1958 Eastern States Health Education Conference of The New York Academy of Medicine will be held on Thursday and Friday, April 24 and 25, 1958, at the Academy, 2 E. 103 St., New York.
Easter Seal Research Foundation Grants.—The Easter Seal Research Foundation of the National Society for Crippled Children and Adults provides grants-in-aid for investigations concerned with the prevention and treatment of physical and associated disabilities and with the rehabilitation of the physically handicapped. Disabilities may be congenital or may result from accident or illness. Accident prevention, per se, is outside the scope of the Foundation's research interest.
Funds for research grants are derived from a fixed percentage of the gross returns of the annual Easter Seal campaign conducted by the National Society and its state and local affiliates.
