Availability of Results of Research and Development in the U. S. S. R. and Other Soviet Orbit Countries in the Field of Science, Technology and Medicine.—Pergamon Institute, a nonprofit foundation, has recently been formed in Washington, D. C., and is in course of formation in London, for the purpose of making available to English-speaking scientists, doctors, and engineers (from all countries that are members of the United Nations) the results of scientific, technological, and medical research and development in the Soviet Union and other countries in the Soviet orbit. The address of the Pergamon Institute is 122 E. 55th St., New York 22. The Joint Presidents of the Institute are Dr. Detlev W. Bronk and Sir Robert Robinson.
The International Council of Scientific Unions, during the recent meeting of its executive Board in Brussels, decided to include a token subvention to the Pergamon Institute in the allocations
