Correction

Abstract

In the footnote on page 375 of the March issue of this Journal the author intended to say "or 75% of his standing height" instead of "25% of his standing height." Thus the footnote should read:

True dwarfism is defined by a standing height which, in comparison with a mean normal age peer, equals his kneeling height, or 75% of his standing height, or 6 to 7 or more standard deviations below his standing height.
