Midwest Society for Pediatric Research.—The Midwest Society for Pediatric Research will hold its annual meeting in Milwaukee on Wednesday and Thursday, Nov. 2-3, 1960. The program will be in three sessions beginning on Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 2.
Abstracts of papers to be considered for the program should be sent to the secretary of the Society, Dr. William B. Weil Jr., Department of Pediatrics, Western Reserve University, Cleveland 6. Abstracts should be limited to 250 words and be submitted in triplicate.
For information on the details of the meeting and for reservations for members and guests of the Society, correspondence should be addressed to Dr. J. C. Peterson, Milwaukee Children's Hospital, 721 N. Seventeenth St., Milwaukee 3.
Aspirin Production—U.S.A.—Monsanto Chemical Company has announced that it is adding 25% more manufacturing capacity to its production unit here for bulk aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid), already the world's largest.
