University of Pittsburgh Academic Pediatrics Training Program.—A training program in academic pediatrics is announced by the Department of Pediatrics, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. The program includes specialization in the field of major interest, supplemented with an opportunity for instruction in basic science and some clinical work and teaching. Ordinarily, a 2-year service is advised, but 1-year fellowships are available. Stipends begin at $6,000., with additional allowances for dependents. Applicants must have an M.D. degree and must have completed the residency requirements of the American Board of Pediatrics.
