Award for a Meritorious Monograph.—The Society for Research in Child Development announces an award for a meritorious monograph. The winning work will be published in the Society's monograph series without cost to the author, and he will be invited to present a paper, based upon the monograph, to the biennial meeting of the Society. Reports of research, critical reviews of literature, and theoretical papers in any biological or behavioral science bearing upon child development are eligible for consideration. Manuscripts are to be submitted in triplicate to the chairman of the committee on or before Jan. 15, 1963. The first award and invited paper will be presented at the meeting of the Society in the spring of 1963. Both members and nonmembers of the Society are eligible to enter the competition.
