To the Editor: Could the authors of the article "Auto-Immune Anti-D Specificity in Infancy" which appeared in the Journal (Gross, S., and Newman, A. J.: 108:181-183, 1964.) elaborate how they (1) blood grouped the patient they discuss, (2) determined that the direct Coombs' test on the patient's red cells was positive, when according to their data the patient's red cells were auto-agglutinated (they report that the patient's serum agglutinated his own red cells).
