American Pediatric Society.—At an annual meeting of the Pediatric Society, held in May 1965, the following officers were elected: President, Clement A. Smith, MD; Vice-President, J. Harry Ebbs, MD; Secretary-Treasurer, Charles D. Cook, MD; Recorder (Editor), Lewis A. Barness, MD; and Council Chairman, Herbert C. Miller, Jr., MD.
Fellowship in Ambulatory Care and Comprehensive Pediatrics.—The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Rochester announces a Fellowship Training Program in Ambulatory Care and Comprehensive Pediatrics starting July 1, 1966. The position offers the opportunity to participate in the Family Care Program, the Adolescent Program, the care of hospitalized children with psychosomatic problems, and participation in related research projects. The program is designed to train physicians for academic pediatric positions in ambulatory services or for private practice. Two years of residency are required.
