This book is a necessary acquisition for all those with special interest in the transplantation field. However, it is likely to be far more widely sought because of its topical general interest, and should be in every medical library.
It is intended primarily as a record of the clinical experience of the Transplantation Team of the University of Colorado Medical Center, and presents one of the two largest series performed on the topic of human renal transplants. A great deal of remarkably up-to-date factual detail is presented in a clear, lucid, but not sketchy fashion, and the book is lavishly illustrated with charts and photographs. It is most helpful to have such a wealth of relatively up-to-date information available in such readily accessible form, particularly in a day and age when the profession at large gleans most of its knowledge of this rapidly expanding field from the lay press rather
