Abstract

This Atlas of Pediatric Surgery makes available in one volume a short, practical discussion and illustrated description of the more common operations required in the pediatric age group. It is written for the purpose of complimenting the other standard text books on pediatric surgery. Most of the illustrations are original and were drawn specifically for this atlas. The illustrations are clear and the text is concise.

The book includes the more common operations in the various specialties as well as abdominal surgery. It will be of particular value for the general surgeon who is called upon to perform surgery on only an occasional child, but it is also recommended for surgical residents as well as students of pediatric surgery. This atlas should constitute a welcome and worthwhile addition to any professional library on pediatric surgery.
