Pediatric Traineeships.—The Department of Pediatrics of the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, as part of a University Affiliated Clinical Program for the Mentally Retarded, has two traineeships available for pediatricians who have completed a two year pediatric residency program and who have American citizenship or Declaration of Intent of Citizenship. The traineeships are for a period of one or two years and involve clinical and research opportunities in the areas of mental retardation, birth defects, neuromuscular dysfunctions, communication disorders, and learning disabilities. The program started in July of 1967. However, applications will be accepted in the middle of this academic year. The stipend is $8,000 for the first year. For further information write: Jack H.
