Abstract

Pediatric radiology has advanced rapidly in evaluating the respiratory tract of infants and children. This first edition brings to focus, in one volume, some of the pertinent aspects of respiratory diseases in the pediatric age group. It is nicely broken down into general and specific topics, as well as a special treatment article. There are 237 illustrations and six tables with the reproduction of the radiographs which are, for the most part, of excellent quality. The group of contributing authors comprise some of the authorities on pediatric radiology from both Europe and the United States.

The general topics are concerned with special problems of obtaining good radiographs of children, radiation protection, and some special procedures. The latter section would be of most interest to the radiologist.
