Asymptomatic lumbar and dorsal intervertebral disk calcification occurred in two children. One case remained asymptomatic 8 months and the other 3 years after their incidental discovery on chest roentgenograms. Most of the previously reported cases concerned the cervical spine, and were usually symptomatic.
