Abstract

Follow-up studies were performed at 8½ to 9 years of age for a child who at birth and at 4 years showed numerous defects due to her mother's ingestion of aminopterin sodium in an attempt to produce an abortion. Early she had bony defects of skull, arms and legs, and growth retardation. At 9 years, growth is still retarded but many defects are greatly improved and her mental and social development are normal.
