This relatively small book was written by a single author who has great facility with the use of the English language. The result is a readable book with a somewhat unique approach. The "Table of Contents" lists some 120 symptoms. Their diagnostic significance is discussed from the standpoint of the author's extensive personal experience and also from a reveiw of the literature. At the end of each chapter there are a number of pertinent references which represent one of the most valuable portions of the book. Other interesting features include a table showing the causes of changes in the color of urine and a very helpful table showing the "side effects of drugs."
