Abstract

A case of congenital diverticulum of the left ventricle associated with a secundum atrial-septal defect occurred. The child also had persistent frequent premature ventricular extrasystoles. After resection of the diverticulum and repair of the atrial-septal defect, a junctional rhythm supervened. The ventricular arrhythmia gradually reappeared several days after surgery.
