Abstract

Primary eversion of the upper eyelids is a rare entity. Anatomical and mechanical factors have been postulated, but pathogenesis remains unresolved. Mechanical factors of a transient nature are strongly suggested by the virtually complete recovery of most patients. In the case that we report, the patient's eyelids returned to normal within three weeks with conservative management.
