In the article, "Recovery of Neisseria meningitidis From the Nasopharynx," published in the July issue of the Journal (128:54-56, 1974), the verb "had" was omitted from the first sentence in the synopsis-abstract. It should have read, "One hundred eighty Naval recruits had nasopharyngeal cultures obtained by one of three methods utilizing transnasal and transoral approaches."
