• An infant with group B streptococcal septicemia had a course that was prolonged due to the occurrence of delayed-onset congenital diaphragmatic hernia. Thirteen comparable cases were identified. Since group B streptococcal sepsis and diaphragmatic hernia on the right are both infrequent events, their association may constitute a significant clinical entity.
