Mathematical Error.—In the article titled "Growth Patterns in Children Hospitalized Because of Caloric-Deprivation Failure to Thrive," published in the February AJDC (1985;139:164-166), two sentences contained mathematical errors. On page 165, column 1, the fifth and sixth sentences in the first full paragraph should have read: "The normal mean daily weight increase for her age and sex (derived from standard growth tables) is 6.0 g/day. Therefore, her GQ was 38.6/6.0, or 6.43."
