JAMA Pediatr. 2014;168(10):971. doi:10.1001/jamapediatrics.2014.2301

In the article titled “Nebulized Hypertonic Saline for Bronchiolitis: A Randomized Clinical Trial,” published online May 26, 2014, and also in the July 2014 print issue of JAMA Pediatrics (2014;168[7]:657-663. doi:10.1001/jamapediatrics.2014.301), the unadjusted odds ratio for hospital admission in the Results section and Figure 2 was inadvertently underestimated. In the first sentence of the Admission Rate subsection of the Results section on page 660, the odds ratio and 95% CI for hospital admission should have been given as 0.55 (95% CI, 0.36-0.83), and the Forest plot in Figure 2 should have reflected the same finding. The adjusted odds ratio was correctly reported, however, and the principal conclusions remain unchanged. This article was corrected online.
