Omitted Mention of and Reference to Related Study

In the initial publication of the article titled “Performance of the Simplified American Academy of Pediatrics Table to Screen Elevated Blood Pressure in Children,”¹ the authors omitted mention of a related study published in the Journal of Hypertension² that used the same data set. The focus of the 2 articles is different, as reflected by the different (but not incompatible) conclusions, and a sentence has been added to the introductory paragraph of the article published in JAMA Pediatrics¹ recognizing the article published in the Journal of Hypertension² and explaining the distinction between the 2 studies. The article was corrected online.
