In the initial publication of the article titled “Performance of the Simplified American Academy of Pediatrics Table to Screen Elevated Blood Pressure in Children,”1 the authors omitted mention of a related study published in the Journal of Hypertension2 that used the same data set. The focus of the 2 articles is different, as reflected by the different (but not incompatible) conclusions, and a sentence has been added to the introductory paragraph of the article published in JAMA Pediatrics1 recognizing the article published in the Journal of Hypertension2 and explaining the distinction between the 2 studies. The article was corrected online.
