In the Original Investigation titled “Two-Year Neurodevelopmental Outcomes After Mild Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy in the Era of Therapeutic Hypothermia,” published online November 11, 2019, and also in the January 2020 issue of JAMA Pediatrics,1 a reference was inadvertently omitted. In the second paragraph of the Introduction, the following sentence should have included 2 references instead of only 1 and read as follows: “However, the literature provides little information on outcome in mild HIE, with almost no data available from the era of TH.12,13” A new reference 12 was added as follows: “Chalak LF, Nguyen KA, Prempunpong C, et al. Prospective research in infants with mild encephalopathy identified in the first six hours of life: neurodevelopmental outcomes at 18-22 months. Pediatr Res. 2018;84(6):861-868. doi:10.1038/s41390-018-0174-x.” In addition, original reference 12 should have been new reference 14, but original reference 13 was correctly numbered. All affected references and their citations in the text were renumbered. This article was corrected online.
