Because of popular demand, we are reinstituting our Picture of the Month feature. This will be presented as an unknown in the ARCHIVES, with the reverse side of the page being the denouement. We would like to get common problems presenting uncommonly, rather than total zebras. These cases should be of interest to practicing pediatricians, problems that they are likely to at least occasionally encounter in the office or hospital setting.
Submissions must be high-quality photographs in either 35-mm slide or electronic format. Parent or patient permission to use photographs must accompany the submission. The discussion should be no more than 750 words. Please send materials to: Frederick P. Rivara, MD, MPH, Editor, Archives of Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, Child Health Institute, University of Washington, 6200 NE 74th St, Suite 210, Seattle, WA 98115-8160; e-mail: email@example.com.
