Assessing Factors Associated With Suicide Risk

To the Editor We thank Mok et al¹ for their cohort study investigating the link between parental psychiatric disease and the risk for attempted suicide and violent criminal behavior in offspring. The authors found that elevated risks for both attempted suicide and violent offending in offspring were evident across a broad range of parental psychiatric diseases.
