To the Editor King and coauthors for the YST Study Team recently performed a study on the association of the Youth-Nominated Support Team Intervention for Suicidal Adolescents–Version II (YST) with mortality among hospitalized suicidal adolescents.1 We echo the view that little is known about effective interventions despite a rising prevalence of suicide among adolescents.2 Therefore, we greatly welcome this investigation and read with great interest our colleagues’ article.
