In 2 independent studies, we found that the efficacy of RUL ECT was highly contingent on dosage relative to ST.%1,2 Furthermore, at high dosage (6 × ST), RUL ECT matched the efficacy of a robust form of BL ECT (2.5 × ST) and had both short- and long-term cognitive side effect advantages.%2
