This little volume is a collection of six public lectures given as part of the celebration of Freud’s Centenary by members of the British Psychoanalytical Society. They include topics of general public interest, such as Psychoanalysis and—the sense of guilt, and child care, and the teacher, and art, and philosophy, and the current economic crisis. Each essay, given by an expert in his field, is a gem worthy of perusal by professional psychiatrists and psychoanalysts.
